Inspiration

Some cats seek out windowsills or sunny spots.

Snowball preferred people.

Whenever I sat down, he would wedge himself halfway underneath me, perfectly content despite looking thoroughly squished. It became one of his signature habits and one of those wonderfully ordinary moments that pet owners know so well.

Happily Squished preserves that memory through printmaking, capturing not only his form but the comfort, trust, and humor that defined his personality.
