For me, spring begins with a cardinal.

Before the weather changes, before the landscape fully wakes, the return of the female cardinals to my yard is one of the first signs that winter is beginning to give way to spring. Their softer coloring can be easy to overlook beside the brilliant red of the males, but their plumage is filled with beautiful layers of subtle color.

Whispers of Spring celebrates that understated beauty on a 16 oz tall tumbler. A female cardinal perches gracefully on a flowering branch, her wings painted in layered reds and browns that soften into a pale yellow and subtle orange body. A delicate yellow head and the faintest touch of red in her crest complete her gentle coloring.
