Inspiration

This piece was created from an observation about how presence can be read without words.

There are moments when the face does not need explanation—when feeling becomes visible through the smallest shifts in expression, particularly in the eyes.

Window explores that idea through reduction and focus: isolating the eye as a visual anchor for awareness, endurance, and interior experience.

Rather than illustrating a narrative, the work holds a single point of perception.

Composition

The composition presents a tightly focused, three-color lithographic rendering of an eye.

Through layering of ink and print pressure, the image builds depth within a limited palette, emphasizing contrast, tone, and structure rather than detail.
